Membership Criteria

 

Schools applying for membership in The Heads Network must:

 

• Be current members of the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS), Canadian Accredited Independent Schools (CAIS), or be accredited by one of the member NAIS accrediting bodies or by one of the six federally recognized school/college regional accrediting agencies.

• Support the Mission and Core Tenets of The Heads Network.

• Principal members (Heads of School of Chief Executive Officers) are expected to attend one Annual Conference every three years.

Membership Dues

 

Annual dues for The Heads Network are based on a school's total student enrollment. Dues for the 2023-2024 academic year are as follows:

​

• Schools with an enrollment of 1 to 299 students: $995

• Schools with an enrollment of 300 to 599 students: $1,155

• Schools with an enrollment of 600 to 899 students: $1,310

• Schools with an enrollment of 900 to 1199 students: $1,470

• Schools with an enrollment of 1200 students and above: $1,625

Applying for Membership

To apply for membership, please complete the application below. The Heads Network Executive Director will then submit your application to the Board of Trustees for their endorsement.

The school itself holds membership in The Heads Network, with the Head of School or Chief Executive Office of an eligible independent school as the representative from that school. They are also encourages to designate one additional faculty/staff member as a secondary representative of the school.
